Looking to make an impact on a growing design team? An award-winning firm is looking to add to their corporate interiors team in Austin! They are looking for a designer with 2-4 years of experience in corporate/commercial design and a go-getter attitude. This role will enable a young designer to grow and learn under a team of seasoned professionals, while working collaboratively alongside other team members and partners.
The role entails..
- generating design concepts; such as floor plan analysis, visual design concepts and finish selections
- Communicating with partners (including: contractors, owners, project managers and consultants) through the project, from schematic design to construction administration
- Collaborating on projects with design team at all levels
- documentation and development of construction documents - and coordinating with MEP requirements
- conducting preliminary field surveys to document existing conditions
- Coordinate materials and assist in the production of project specifications
The candidate should have..
- professional degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited university
- strong attention to detail, organization and multi-tasking skills
- proficiency in Revit is a must
- Problem-solving skills and developed communication skills
